Mobile Servicing

 

It may be possible for our engineer to visit your caravan or motorhome at its present location whether at a caravan park or on a private drive. This service is not always available and will depend upon our workshop bookings.

Due to the geographical distances in the Highlands and the time it can take to drive these roads, call-outs can inevitably cost a considerable amount in terms of our engineers travelling time to the customers location, plus the fuel costs and time on site.

We are able to offer a fixed call-out fee to the following sites: Camping and Caravanning Club site at Delnies Wood in Nairn and the Caravan Club site at Culloden Moor, Inverness. Callouts to these sites cost a fixed fee of £50 plus VAT. This includes our engineers visit to the site plus up to 45 minutes of work on-site - within which time our engineer should be able to undertake basic repairs or provide an estimate for repairs requiring workshop or more in-depth servicing.

Any call-outs to locations other than these campsites will be quoted individually. As a guide we normally base a quote on £1.30 per mile (each way) to cover travel time & fuel, plus the time on site is charged at £35hr. So for instance, a call-out to Glenmore Forest Campsite in Aviemore would cost £104 (40 miles each way and almost an hours drive) plus time on site. There is a minimum call-out fee of £50 on all callouts. VAT is charged in addition to all basic fees and labour costs.

Callouts will normally be booked for late-afternoon appointments to allow the workshop to keep up with scheduled bookings.
