The Globecar Roadscout is the perfect balance between a campervan and a motorhome. With it being just 5.4m long it can handle the Highland roads without issue and is still packed with all the creature comforts needed for a great adventure.
Vehicle Interior - There are two comfortable forward facing rear seats, a dining table which creates the lounge area with front passenger and driver swivel seats. The sliding door allows lots of light inside the motorhome and there is an integrated fly net to keep insects out.
The kitchen area has a sink with cold & hot water, a 2-ring gas hob, and a 65l fridge. There is lots of storage for food and utensils in overhead cupboards or slide-out drawers. An extendable counter-top also makes rustling up a camping feast an achievable holiday goal. (Although we can officially recommend trying many Highland restaurants and cafes which offer world-class menus!)
Sleeping Area – There is a fixed double bed at the rear of the vehicle (1.95m x 1.3m) with overhead lockers for storing clothes and holiday essentials, not to mention the huge storage area beneath the bed where you can put camping chairs, luggage and any extra equipment required.
With a compact central washroom on board you have your own private facilities. This comprises a space saving drop down sink, a Thetford cassette toilet and a small, but effective shower - the sink tap converts into the shower head. We also include a hair-dryer which can be used when plugged into mains electricity.
Additional Features: The heating system will work from gas or mains electric and is very efficient all year round. There is an electric step at the sliding door entrance for anyone who needs it and all windows have integrated blinds and flyscreens. Even the cab area has built-in blinds.
With this being a pet friendly vehicle, you are allowed to travel with your furry companion/s.
