Proud to Support Caravan Radio!

Good music, great conversations and a healthy dose of positivity – what's not to love?

At Highland Campervans, we're delighted to continue our support of Caravan Radio, the online radio station bringing great music, interesting conversations and a little extra positivity to the leisure vehicle community.

Many of our customers will already know Ray Atkinson, who recently retired from Highland Campervans after 10 years with the business. But Ray certainly hasn't hung up his microphone! With his background in local radio, including many years at MFR, Ray continues to entertain listeners as a regular presenter on Caravan Radio – and we're delighted to still be working alongside him and the wider station team.

More Than Just Great Music

Caravan Radio is an internet-based station, available 24/7, that you can listen to wherever you are, whether that's at home, in your motorhome or campervan, or out exploring on your travels.

Alongside a fantastic mix of music, predominantly from the 1960s through to the best of today, the station features topical discussions, interviews and insights relevant to caravan, campervan and motorhome enthusiasts. From conversations with well-known industry figures such as Motorhome Matt to discussions about the latest developments in the leisure vehicle world, there's plenty to keep listeners entertained and informed.

A Radio Station with a Positive Difference

What we particularly love about Caravan Radio is its focus on positivity.

At the recent Caravan and Motorhome Show at the NEC in Birmingham, our Director Catherine Bunn caught up with Mike, the station's founder, to hear more about what inspired him to launch Caravan Radio.

Mike explained that he wanted to create the sort of radio station he would enjoy listening to himself – one that makes people feel good. In fact, the station takes its commitment to positivity so seriously that every song played must meet a minimum positivity score!

In a world where the news can sometimes feel rather gloomy, we think that's a refreshing approach.
